UNT - COLLIN College

UNT at Frisco and Collin College have partnered together to provide students with more course options and an affordable way to complete your degree in business and science. This partnership enables students to enroll in courses at both Collin College and UNT concurrently, while following a designated degree path at UNT.


  • Locations: Collin College classes offered at Collin College’s Frisco campus and UNT at Frisco campus.

  • Simultaneous enrollment: Students are admitted to both institutions, allowing enrollment in courses that transfer into UNT degrees, providing a more cost-effective path to earning their degree at UNT.

UNT at Frisco Locations

UNT has two locations in Frisco:
  • Frisco Landing
  • Inspire Park.
Each location offers a modern, collaborative learning environment. Frisco Landing is the main academic hub, the first building on the UNT at Frisco campus, and Inspire Park hosts specialized programs, labs, and innovation-focused spaces.

These locations are only about 8–10 minutes apart by car, making it easy for students to move between classes, events, and resources.

  • Access tutoring, writing support, test-proctoring, academic coaching, and academic accommodations via the Tutoring & Academic Success Center (Frisco Landing, Suite FRLD 250).
  • Schedule academic coaching and visit the Math Marvel Studio for math-course tutoring (MATH 1100, 1180, 1190, 1650) in FRLD 270.

What’s the difference between UNT( Denton ) and UNT at Frisco?
  • UNT ( Denton ) is our flagship campus, which offers a traditional university experience with a large student population, full student life, housing, dining, and a wide range of academic programs.

  • UNT at Frisco is our new branch campus, which features work-integrated learning, industry partnerships, modern classrooms, and career-focused programs connected to the growing DFW business and tech community.

What are the buildings hours?

Frisco Landing (12995 Preston Rd)

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Friday:  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: Close

Inspire Park (6170 Research Rd)

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday:  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

How do I get my student ID card?
  1. Email your ID requests to idcards@unt.edu. You will need to indicate that you would like to pick up the ID card at UNT Frisco.  Include a photo that meets the photo requirements listed here: https://studentaccounting.unt.edu/idcards.html
  2.  Once the ID is processed, you will receive an email stating that your ID is print ready.
  3. Once you receive that email, you can pick up their ID between 8 am & 6 pm Monday-Thursday and 8 am-5 pm Friday at the Frisco Landing Welcome Desk. If you need to pick up your ID after hours, please stop by or call the welcome desk to let them know to make arrangements in advance.
  4. When you arrive, please provide your name, ID#, and a valid government-issued ID (e.g., Driver’s License or Passport)
  5. Once identification is verified, the ID can be printed for you.
Where can I park at Frisco Landing?
  • Parking permits for students, faculty, staff, and visitors are required. Permits may be purchased online through the UNT Parking Portal.
  • Denton-Dallas-HSC permits are valid in Frisco, but Frisco permits are not valid in Denton.

  • If you have a guest speaker or visitor coming to your class, they must have a permit. Each department can purchase single-day permits from the UNT Parking office.
  • Frisco Landing also utilizes the Premium Parking Mobile app for your short-term parking needs. Download the 
    app, set up an account, and search for zone P9299 to park at Frisco Landing

As a branch campus of University of North Texas, the accreditation status of UNT at Frisco is dependent on the continued accreditation of University of North Texas. University of North Texas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees. University of North Texas also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
